Coming home to nature in a comfortable and authentic way. This time we are in the French Alps. In 1 of the most impressive natural parks in France. You sleep in expedition tents of the Swedish brand Tentipi with inflatable box spring beds. All you bring yourself is your sleeping bag, fitted sheet and pillow and stuff for your personal care. All camping gear is provided. Actually, it is similar to sleeping in a hotel, but in the middle of nature. You can cook for yourself on your wood stove or eat at The Berber. De Berber has 220 volts through solar panels and a large fridge with freezer. So you can put your bottle of rosé in the fridge. You can cook on different types of wood fire. The Berber is experience. Very suitable for kids.
Nature and surroundings
It is intended for adventurers, nature lovers and peace seekers. Because we use locations in natural areas, peace and respect for the environment is important when you book with us. There is no wifi, no canteen or entertainment. If you book with the Berber, your host will know the way. You can contact us with all kinds of questions regarding activities such as hiking, cycling and other activities. A stay at the Berber is described by our guests as relaxing and hospitable. The equipment we use to make your stay pleasant and comfortable is of high quality. All tents have a wood stove and comfortable furniture. De Berber is primitive, but also comfortable with the best gear. Nature is once again overwhelming this time. At the foot of 2 impressive glaciers at 1650 meters altitude in the picturesque mountain village of Ailefroide are our tents. Mountain hiking, hut tours, climbing and whitewater rafting. It's all possible.
