The cottage is a bit dated but neat; cleaning could be better—for example, there’s a lot of dust and dirt under the cabinets.
It gets crowded on weekends, with lots of motorcycles and cyclists on the road.

A nice and cozy little cottage! There's plenty of space for two people, which is ideal. It's fully equipped, though some oil, salt, and pepper would have been handy. We had a wonderful stay here!

Prettig en gezellig huisje! Je hebt veel ruimte voor twee personen, wat ideaal is. Van alle gemakken voorzien, al was wat olie en peper en zout wel handig geweest. We hebben hier een heerlijk verblijf gehad!

The cottage is located in a lovely, quiet, and nature-rich setting! It's perfect for walking the dog.

In Garderen, the sand sculptures are definitely worth checking out.

The guestbook was also very positive; several guests were happy about the spacious yard where they could let their dogs run around.

In Garderen zijn de Zandsculpturen zeker de moeite waard om te gaan bekijken.

Het gastenboek was ook heel positief, een aantal gasten was blij met de ruime tuin om de hond te laten rennen.

Very quiet location, spacious inside, everything neat and clean.
If you listen closely, you can just barely hear some noise from the A1 in the distance, but it’s certainly not bothersome.
The west-facing porch is a very pleasant place to sit.
Part of the cottage is a bit dated, while other parts have been recently renovated. On Street View, you can see the renovation still in full swing in April 2024.

The bedrooms are on the first floor, in the left half of what you see in the photo. The air conditioning there was very pleasant when it was 37 degrees outside, and it kept the downstairs cool as well. At night, you do hear some noise from the air conditioner, but that’s a small price to pay.

On the ground floor, the kitchen-diner is on the left, and if you walk down the hallway to the right, you’ll enter the living room. It’s all quite spacious—this was originally a private home. A few rooms are currently closed off. The garden wraps around the house from left to right, and the owner’s farm is located behind the house.

For shops, you’ll need to go to Garderen, which is a 5–10-minute bike ride away.

Heel rustig gelegen, ruim van binnen, alles netjes en schoon.
Als je goed luistert hoor je nog net wat geruis van de A1 verderop, maar dat is zeker niet storend.
Je zit heel prettig op de veranda, op west gelegen.
Een deel van het huisje is wat gedateerd, andere delen zijn recent opgeknapt. Op streetview zie je de verbouwing in april 2024 nog in volle gang.

De slaapkamers bevinden zich op de 1e verdieping, in de linkerhelft van wat je op de foto ziet. De airco daar was heel aangenaam toen het buiten 37 graden was, en hield het beneden ook koel. 's Nachts heb je wel wat herrie van de airco maar die neem je dan graag voor lief.

Op de BG zit links de eetkeuken, en als je de gang doorloopt naar rechts kom je in de woonkamer. Allemaal best ruim, oorspronkelijk was dit een eigen woning. Enkele kamers zijn nu afgesloten. De tuin loopt van links tot rechts om het huis heen, achter het huis ligt de boerderij van de eigenaar.

Voor winkels moet je naar Garderen, 5-10 minuten op de fiets.
