The Tiny house has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, 1-burner stove, mini oven, toaster and coffee/tea making facilities. The room has a lovely double bed (140x200). From the bed you can look out over the meadows through the large windows. There is also a lounge area where you can spend a lovely afternoon with beautiful views. To fully enjoy the environment there is no TV, but there are games and books available. Pets are allowed. The Tiny house has a separate bathroom directly adjacent to the cottage. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and sink. Bathrobes and towels are provided. Due to a private entrance with space for the car and the sheltered, screened garden, the location has a lot of privacy. The garden faces west, allowing you to enjoy the sunset in the evening. If it gets a little chilly in the evening you can light the campfire. For €15.00 you can buy a bag of wood for the fire.
Nature and surroundings
The view from the garden and the Tiny house changes with the seasons, in spring a herd of Friesian horses in front of your door, in summer emerging corn fields and in autumn the Tiny House will be in a sheltered oasis with a mature corn field as a windbreaker so you can enjoy the sun out of the wind. In the area there is a lot to do; discover Leeuwarden. For cyclists and hikers there are several recreational and nature areas, you can rent whistler boats and/or canoes and by car you are within half an hour in Holwerd where you can take the boat to Ameland to enjoy a day on one of the Wadden Islands.
