From the bungalow about 25 meters begins a gently sloping path that leads through a beautiful forest and fields/pastures. In the beginning you walk along the river and after about 500 meters there is a small bridge over the river. After a few fields you walk slightly uphill through the forest (often foxes and deer can be seen). After a few kilometers uphill you come to an altitude with arable land. Impressive spatial experience due to the undulations of the terrain. Bar le Duc at 12 km is a "must"; definitely the high old town with an impressive castle, built of limestone. In the city in a beautiful park with old trees you will find a freely accessible beautiful castle (in use as a public media library). At about 1.5 hours drive you can reach the old cities of Nancy and Reims. Recommended - another impressive walk from the village leads mainly through fields and meadows. Shortly before Bar le Duc you drive through a nice walking forest with on the left (towards Bar le Duc), a playground.
