From the bungalow about 25 meters begins a gently sloping path that leads through a beautiful forest and fields/pastures. In the beginning you walk along the river and after about 500 meters there is a small bridge over the river. After a few fields you walk slightly uphill through the forest (often foxes and deer can be seen). After a few kilometers uphill you come to an altitude with arable land. Impressive spatial experience due to the undulations of the terrain. Bar le Duc at 12 km is a 'must'; definitely the high old town with an impressive castle built of limestone. In the city in a beautiful park with old trees you will find a freely accessible beautiful castle (in use as a public media library). At about 1.5 hours drive you can reach the old cities of Nancy and Reims. Another impressive walk from the village leads mainly through fields and meadows. Shortly before Bar le Duc you drive through a nice walking forest with on the left (towards Bar le Duc), a playground.
