Nature house in Niella Belbo

We spent a week in the cottage for the second time and were thrilled again. The former shepherd's house is in a quiet location and the surroundings of the Alta Langa are beautiful. You can either strengthen your calves by cycling, as it is very mountainous, or hike the Sentiero Girasole. The many hazelnut plantations blend in well with the abundant wild nature. Some of the small shops offer good regional products. The only thing missing for a perfect vacation are swimming facilities, i.e. a lake nearby. The Mediterranean is a good hour's drive away. Donatello, the landlord of the cottage, is extremely friendly and accommodating.

Wir verbrachten zum zweiten Mal eine Woche in dem Häuschen und waren wieder begeistert. Das ehemaligige Hirtenhaus liegt ruhig und die Umgebung der Alta Langa ist wunderschön. Man kann entweder beim Radfahren die Waden stärken, denn es ist ausgesprochen bergig oder den Sentiero Girasole bewandern. Die vielen Haselnussplantagen fügen sich gut in reichlich wilde Natur ein.
Kleine Lädchen bieten zum Teil gute regionale Produkte an.
Das einzige, was für einen perfekten Urlaub fehlt, sind Bademöglichekeiten, also ein See in der Nähe. Das Mittelmeer ist eine gute Autostunde entfernt.
Donatello, der Vermieter des Häuschens, ist ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommend.

A wonderful place to relax from the stress of everyday life. The cottage itself is beautifully furnished. The upper combined bedroom and living room has a fireplace, so you can spend cool evenings inside in comfort. The totally secluded location in green surroundings is perfect for nature-loving vacationers. It is very quiet, in the evening you can hear cicadas singing and owls calling. There are several outdoor areas to relax.

Ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen vom Alltagsstress. Das Häuschen selbst sehr schön eingerichtet. Der obere kombinierte Schlaf- Wohnraum besitzt einen Kamin, sodass man kühle Abende gemütlich innen verbringen kann. Die totale Alleinlage in grüner Umgebung ist für naturverbundene Urlauber perfekt. Es ist sehr ruhig, am Abend hört man Zikaden singen und Käuzchen rufen. Es gibt mehrere Außenplätze zum Entspannen.

It would be a 10 if renting through Nature House wasn't so expensive!

Het zou een 10 zijn als huren via Natuurhuisje niet zo duur zou zijn!

A really lovely quiet and secluded (nearest house about 500 meters away) beautiful cottage, old-fashioned thick walls (and so cool enough in the Italian summer), modern complete kitchen and bathroom, very spacious garden all around with well-maintained flowerbeds and so many butterflies, and all around opportunities to sit outside in the sun or shade. Nice and helpful owner. There were lots of bee-eaters in the neighborhood! (and other birds and boars etc.).

Een echt heerlijk rustig en vrij gelegen (dichtstbijzijnde huis op zo'n 500 meter) prachtig huisje, ouderwetse dikke muren (en dus koel genoeg in de Italiaanse zomer), moderne complete keuken en badkamer, hele ruime tuin rondom met goed onderhouden bloemperken en dus veel vlinders, en rondom mogelijkheden om in de zon of de schaduw te zitten buiten.
Aardige en behulpzame eigenaar.
Er zaten heel veel bijeneters in de buurt! (en andere vogels en zwijnen enz.)
