Nature and surroundings

The estate is located in Lobith, an 80-hectare area where sustainability, biodiversity, and circularity are embedded in the DNA of this regenerative farm. The estate’s lands are among the most dynamic natural areas in the Netherlands, where healthy soil management forms the foundation for a thriving plant community. This, in turn, results in significant carbon sequestration, maximum photosynthesis, and optimal CO2 absorption. Lakenvelder and Wagyu cattle are raised on the estate in a highly sustainable manner. In addition to the livestock, you’ll come face to face with the local wildlife: roe deer, geese, beavers, and storks. Nearby, you can admire Bergh Castle, and just 25 km away are the Kröller-Müller Museum, De Hoge Veluwe National Park, and Burgers Zoo.

We had a wonderful time! The cottage has everything you could need. We had a great time fishing on the terrace by the water and slept wonderfully in the comfortable bed. We’ll definitely be back!

    Great location!
It's so relaxing—watching kingfishers fly by, seeing a beaver swim past, and spotting deer.
