For a short vacation (1 week) everything was ok. There is not that much to discover in the area if you don't want to drive further distances by car every day. The house is good, except for the room next door (and the mattresses in the beds were a bit very soft)

Für einen kurzen Urlaub (1 Woche) war alles ok. Es gibt nicht so viel zu entdecken in der Umgebung, wenn man nicht jeden Tag weitere Wege mit dem Auto fahren will. Das Haus ist gut, bis auf das Nebenzimmer (und die Matratzen in den Betten waren ein bisschen sehr weich)

The furnishings of the cottage are quite unfashionable but cozy. There is everything you need in the kitchen and living room, an original collection of plates and cups, but also lots of good pots and all the cutlery you need for cooking. The beds in the bedroom are not particularly comfortable. I personally found the adjoining room with the sofa bed dreadful. The couch is uncomfortable, no room to pull it out, therefore very narrow. The huge cuckoo clock and the really gross painting were a bit creepy (but that's a matter of taste). The open shelf with its contents, the large table and everything on/under it gave the feeling of being in a storeroom. What I found most annoying was the smell, which only subsided after several days of constant ventilation. The garden is very nice, we spent many hours on the great terrace watching birds and squirrels. It's very quiet in the park, you can quickly reach the forest from the house and go for a good walk.

Die Einrichtung des Häuschens ist recht unmodern aber gemütlich. In Küche und Wohnzimmer ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, eine orginelle Teller- und Tassensammlung, aber auch viele gute Töpfe und alles an Besteck was man zum Kochen benötigt. Die Betten im Schlafzimmer sind nicht sonderlich bequem. Das Nebenzimmer mit der Schlafcouch fand ich persönlich fürchterlich. Die Couch ist unbequem, kein Platz um sie auszuziehen, daher sehr schmal. Die riesige Kuckucksuhr und das echt krasse Gemälde waren ein bisschen gruselig (aber das ist Geschmackssache). Das offene Regal mit seinem Inhalt, der große Tisch und alles darauf/darunter vermittelte das Gefühl in einer Abstellkammer zu sein. Am störensten fand ich aber den Geruch, der erst nach mehrtägigem Dauerlüften nachließ. Der Garten ist sehr schön, wir haben viele Stunden auf der tollen Terasse verbracht und Vögel und Eichhörnchen beobachtet. Im Park ist es sehr ruhig, man ist vom Haus aus schnell im Wald und kann gut spazieren gehen.
