Nature house in Hulshorst

A cottage with everything you need. They’ve thought of everything, including coffee, sugar, dish soap, and more. It’s beautifully decorated, and the space is used efficiently. It’s also convenient that the owners live nearby and can be there quickly when needed. The large windows help you follow a more natural rhythm and wake up feeling relaxed. I was also glad I brought my yoga mat, so I could lay it out on the grass every morning and get active right away. It encourages you to adopt a different rhythm, and for me, that’s what a vacation is all about.

Huisje waarin alles voorzien is. Aan alles is gedacht, inclusief koffie, suiker, afwasmiddelen,... Mooi ingericht, de ruimte nuttig benut. Ook handig dat de eigenaren vlakbij wonen en dus snel aanwezig zijn wanneer nodig. De grote ramen zorgen ervoor dat je meer een natuurlijk ritme volgt en ontspannen wakker wordt. Ik was ook blij dat ik mij' yoga mat bij had, zodat ik iedere ochtend die buiten op het gras kon leggen en al actief zijn. Je wordt gestimuleerd tot een ander ritme en dat is voor mij vakantie.

A little cottage where you can truly unwind. Beautiful location, close to charming towns, surrounded by a gorgeous orchard (with delicious apples, pears, and plums!) where we were allowed to pick fruit. An overall “I’m surrounded by peace, greenery, and nature” experience that I’ve never had before.

Een huisje om helemaal in tot rust te komen. Mooie locatie, vlak bij gezellige stadjes, prachtige boomgaard (met lekkere appels, peren en pruimen!) rondom waar we fruit uit mochten plukken. Een algehele 'ik zit in de rust, in het groen, in de natuur' - ervaring die ik hiervoor nog niet gehad heb.

A really lovely cottage. Nicely decorated, with beautiful furnishings, and completely surrounded by nature.

Heel fijn huisje. Fijn ingericht, mooie spullen en absoluut in de natuur.

An entire orchard all to yourself! And with a beautifully decorated cottage that has windows on two sides, you really feel like you’re in the middle of nature. From our chairs on the little patio, we had a wonderful view of a little hare tucking hazelnuts into a crack in the plum tree to try to crack them open.

Een hele boomgaard voor jezelf! En met een prachtig ingericht huisje met ramen aan 2 kanten zit je echt in de natuur. Vanaf onze stoelen op het terrasje zaten we heerlijkste kijken hoe een slecht hazelnoten in een scheur van de pruimenboom stopte om ze te proberen te openen.

The cottage is not yet old and therefore certainly not "lived out". It is small but nice, the space is optimized. It is really max two people though, I was by myself and that was really ideal.

Het huisje is nog niet oud en dus zeker niet "uitgewoond". Het is klein maar fijn, de ruimte is optimaal benut. Het is wel echt max twee personen, ik was in mijn eentje en dat was echt ideaal.

This may sound over the top, but believe me: it almost can't get any better than this in my experience. Once at and in the cottage you really have the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by greenery. So much privacy, except for the six or seven hares, which at their leisure look inside when you sit at the drinks to give the feet rest after a day of exploring the area. The contact with the owner was pleasant, they email shortly beforehand about practical details and how they can be reached. Other than that you don't need any contact. 5 out of 5, I will be back here!

Dit klinkt wellicht overtrokken, maar geloof me: beter dan dit kan het in mijn beleving bijna niet. Eenmaal bij en in het huisje heb je echt het gevoel in the middle of nowhere te zitten, omgeven door groen. Veel privacy dus, op de zes of zeven hazen na, die op hun gemakje naar binnen kijken wanneer je aan de borrelnootjes zit om de voeten rust te geven na een dagje heerlijk de omgeving verkennen.

Het contact met de eigenaar was prettig, ze mailen kort te voren over praktische details en hoe ze bereikbaar zijn. Verder hoef je geen contact te hebben.
