Nature house in Herwijnen

Welcome to this nature house! You enter the cozy living kitchen, which is fully equipped; including oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, espresso machine, beautiful dishes and an induction cooktop. To the left of the kitchen is the bathroom with rain shower and soft towels and a separate toilet. To the right of the kitchen is the first spacious, bright bedroom with wood stove and views of the stable and garden with terrace. On the two adjustable Auping mattresses you dream away under quality bedding. Or retreat to the couch in front of the window by the wood stove with a good book from the bookcase or a Netflix series of your choice. En suite is the second, also spacious and bright bedroom with beautiful views of the green Waaldijk. A lovely soft double bed for unwinding is ready. There is a small sofa bed. Here is also a closet. In the garden there is a picnic table, bbq, fire basket and play equipment.

The nature house is located in our residential farmhouse at the foot of the green Waal dike. We ourselves live with our children in the back house. In our yard chickens scratch around freely; feel free to collect an egg. There are ponies in the meadow and dogs and a cat in the garden. Over the dike you can walk to several beaches on the Waal. Over the dike you can walk and cycle endlessly to beautiful old fortified towns like Gorinchem and Zaltbommel. A favorite is the Lingeroute over winding dikes, through old, cozy villages, along the beautiful Linge. Blossom in spring, apples in autumn. Along the way plenty of nice restaurants, especially on the beautiful Marienwaerdt estate in Beesd. Rotterdam, Utrecht, Dordrecht and 's Hertogenbosch are about half an hour away, Amsterdam is 50 minutes. After that, it's nice and quiet coming home again in this nature house!
