Nature house in Huldenberg

The tent is spacious and bright. The eco-friendly garden has several places to sit. The other cottage available for guests is cozy and practical; it has everything you need. It was really great that we could use the bikes—they were all set up for us. We received a warm welcome and certainly had everything we needed.

De tent is ruim en licht. De ecologische tuin heeft verschillende plekjes om te zitten. Het andere huisje dat je kunt gebruiken is gezellig en praktisch, alles dat je nodig hebt is er aanwezig. Heel tof dat we fietsen konden gebruiken, die werden op punt gezet voor ons. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en kwamen zeker niets te kort.

A beautiful region with lovely hikes nearby. Hiking along the sunken paths and by the water is wonderful. Trees and panoramic views alternate. We could hear a tawny owl! And in the morning, we could hear the chorus of other birds as we woke up—it was blissful.

Prachtige streek met mooie wandelingen vlakbij. Wandelen in de holle wegen en langs het water is heerlijk. Bomen en vergezichten wisselen elkaar af. We konden een bosuil horen! En ‘s ochtends was er het concert van andere vogels te horen bij het opstaan, zalig.

Excellent amenities in the tent, garden, and utility room—they’ve thought of everything! Hammocks, brochures, hiking maps, cushions for the chairs, a barbecue, games, and tasty drinks in the fridge that you can buy... The tent is very comfortable and clean, though the beds are quite firm. Unfortunately, the kitchen wasn’t clean (lots of dust and food scraps). There’s no running water, but this is handled well with a pitcher with a spout and a water bottle. The only downside is that we sometimes had to wait a bit for fresh water, even though we had to wash a lot of dishes before we could use them.

Hele goeie voorzieningen in tent, tuin en bijkeuken, er is aan alles gedacht! Hangmatten, folders, wandelkaarten, kussens voor in de zetels, barbeque, spelletjes, lekkere drankjes in de koelkast die je kan aankopen,... De tent is heel aangenaam en proper, de bedden wel redelijk hard. Jammer genoeg was de keuken niet proper (veel stof en etensresten). Er is geen stromend water en dat wordt goed opgelost door een kruik met kraantje en een bidon. Enige minpuntje is dat het soms wel wat wachten was op vers water, terwijl we toch veel materiaal moesten afwassen voor we het konden gebruiken.

The tent is set up in the owners’ yard: the area around the tent is a little oasis of tranquility with plenty of nice shady spots—it’s been nicely arranged. The owners are friendly. However, the house is located on a fairly busy street. The tent is also close to the driveway, so you do end up waking up in the morning to the sound of cars. That’s a bit of a shame.

Response from the host: We’re glad you appreciated all the amenities and enjoyed them! As for the water: there’s also a small faucet available, and due to the extremely hot weather and for hygiene reasons, we chose to provide fresh water a little more often. The outdoor area is cleaned, but it is and remains a (covered) outdoor space that comes with the rental, and the tent and a very spacious garden with several seating and relaxation areas. Between the tent and the driveway, there’s a thick hedge and a row of small trees, so no cars pass by before 9 a.m. or after 8 p.m.

De tent staat in de tuin van de eigenaars: rond de tent is het een kleine oase van rust met veel toffe schaduwplekjes, dat is leuk gedaan. De eigenaars zijn vriendelijk. Maar het huis ligt aan een redelijk drukke straat. De tent staat ook dicht bij de oprit van het huis, waardoor je 's morgens toch wakker wordt van het geluid van de wagen. Dat is een beetje jammer.

Reactie vanuit verhuurder: Fijn dat jullie alle faciliteiten apprecieerden en ervan genoten hebben! Wat het water betreft: er is ook een kraantje ter beschikking en wegens het extreem warme weer en hygiënische redenen kozen we ervoor iets vaker vers water ter beschikking te stellen. De buitenruimte wordt gekuist maar het is en blijft een (overdekte) buitenplek die je erbij krijgt, naast de tent en een zeer ruime tuin met meerdere zit-en chill hoekjes. Tussen de tent en de oprit is er een dikke haag en een rij boompjes waar geen auto passeert voor 9u en na 20u.

We had 3 great days, super warm welcome. Very nice hostess. Unfortunately no 10. This has only to do with the hard bed. Our back really did not like this after 3 nights. Everything else top!!!

The place was amazing. What freedom, space and privacy. Much larger than we had imagined. Super nice with seating everywhere in the garden. The regional beers ready also super nice (and tasty). Outdoor showering a whole new experience. Tipi tent super clean. Ability to bbq top. Environment super clean. In short ... fantastic.

De plek was geweldig. Wat een vrijheid, ruimte en privacy. Veel groter dan wij gedacht hadden. Super leuk met overal in de tuin een zitje. De streekbiertjes die klaar staan ook super leuk. (En lekker). Buiten douchen een hele nieuwe ervaring. Tipi tent super schoon. Mogelijkheid om te bbq-en top. Omgeving super schoon. Kortom...fantastisch
