Domaine de Mournet is located in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park, in a verdant riverside setting at the entrance to the small village of Albon d'Ardèche. This traditional 19th-century Ardèche farmhouse has been restored with charm and modernity, and converted into four completely independent gîtes. On site, a large landscaped garden with children's play area, ping pong table and saltwater swimming pool (heated part of the year). Our gîte La Grange is at the entrance to the property. It is spacious and comfortable. Completely renovated in 2024, it comprises a large living/dining room/kitchen (well-equipped and functional), a bathroom and separate toilet, a master bedroom (160cm bed) with en-suite shower room, and two further bedrooms, each with twin beds. Attractive private wooden terrace overlooking the surrounding hills, garden furniture and gas barbecue.
Nature and surroundings
We live in a beautiful region, where nature is wild and unspoilt. The Domaine is an ideal place for a relaxing family vacation, far from the crowds and hustle and bustle of the cities. There are many nature activities in the area: canoeing, kayaking, cycling, climbing, canyoning, sightseeing and cultural visits, donkey rides... The Domaine is also a good starting point for hiking. It borders a pretty little river that is popular with trout fishermen and ideal for swimming. We offer electrically-assisted bicycles for hire (full or half day), and some exercise bikes are available free of charge for our guests.
