Our detached B&B is quietly situated in the green, just outside the fortified town of Groenlo. The space is attractively furnished with a comfortable living/bedroom and a separate bathroom. Outside on the veranda with decking you sit in the middle of nature, overlooking the countryside. In the garden chickens scratch around and around you regularly hear and see birds like the woodpecker or the little owl - a nice place to just unwind. In the morning a full and luxurious breakfast is served, with fresh and as much as possible homemade and local products. The B&B is separate from the main house and has its own entrance and a lockable bike shed with electricity. Everything is accessible with a private key, so you can stay in peace and privacy.
Nature and surroundings
Nearby are beautiful hiking and biking trails. Within ten minutes cycling you are in the historic center of Groenlo, including the museum about the Eighty Years' War. Also nature reserve De Leemputten, where you can walk or pedal, the Zwilbrockerven just across the border in Germany and the subtropical swimming pool Marveld are easily accessible by bike. For the adventurous guest, there is an airport 15 minutes away, where it is possible to make a round trip with a sports plane - a special way to experience the Achterhoek landscape from the air. A nice place for those who love peace, nature and a relaxing stay - with room for adventure if you feel like it.
