An old log cabin transformed into a unique retreat in nature on a 4-hectare property situated in a secluded little valley on the border of Aveyron and Tarn-et-Garonne, with all the necessary amenities to make your stay enjoyable. A spacious covered porch and a continuous terrace make outdoor living relaxing. Not connected to the water or electrical grid. Water comes from rainwater collected in a cistern located about 30 meters above the log cabin, and electricity is provided by solar panels. There is limited 230V power, but enough for a laptop, smartphone, and lighting. The spacious upright refrigerator runs on gas. The cabin is accessible by car for unloading luggage. Parking is available about 75 meters away. A tarp stretched over the roof helps keep the temperature in check during the summer. Basic cottage (log cabin), for us it had everything we needed. Cottage offers shade in hot weather, open area for sun. Spacious covered terrace. Small drive for stores.
Basic huisje (blokhut), voor ons was alles aanwezig wat we nodig hadden. Huisje bied schaduw bij warm weer, open plek voor in de zon. Ruim overdekt terras. Stukje rijden voor winkels.
The cottage is in the middle of the forest near a stream. All peace and quiet, ideal for us and the dog. Many hiking opportunities!
