Welcome to this nature house! A romantic thatched farmhouse on the outskirts of Putten. The house is located in a stylish and peaceful park, just a 5-minute walk from the forest. From the entryway, you’ll step into the spacious open kitchen. Do you prefer filter coffee or Nespresso? Just let us know when you book, and we’ll have the machine of your choice ready for you. The living room, with its many windows and beautiful high ceiling, features a comfortable three-seater sofa where you can relax or watch TV: 55-inch screen + Netflix. Would you rather read a book with some music playing? That’s possible too—the cottage is fully equipped with all the amenities you need. From the living room, French doors lead out to the beautiful, spacious south-facing garden, where you can enjoy the sun all day long in complete privacy during the summer. For those who prefer shade, there’s a pergola with an awning and several umbrellas. The spacious bedroom features a comfortable double box-spring bed, made up upon your arrival.

There’s plenty to do in the area. Forests and heathlands are within walking distance. After all, we’re talking about the Veluwe, with its vast forests and heathlands, and many hiking (including “Het Klompenpad”) and biking trails. The little farmhouse is located in Krachtighuizen, near the village of Putten, which has several restaurants and a charming village center. A little further away are Ermelo and Harderwijk, which also offer plenty of dining and entertainment options. Don’t forget to check out the Dolfinarium, the boulevard, and Harderwijk’s city beach. Schovenhorst Estate, Nulde Beach, De Hoge Veluwe Park, Salentein Castle, the Bosbad Putten subtropical swimming pool, the Drôme sauna (Putten), and the Veluwse Bron (Emst).
