In this converted old milk factory near the Wadden area you stay with your partner, friend, daughter, father or .... in a spacious, rugged and comfortable 2-person apartment. The interior is tough, but fully equipped with spacious, comfortable bathroom with bath or spacious showers, large kitchen where you can really cook and eat together. A large kitchen is fully equipped: fridge-freezer, oven, induction hob, dishwasher, kettle and coffee maker. In the garden you can enjoy the beautiful, wide, unspoiled Frisian Waddenland. Ever slept in a milk tank? Neither have we! But there used to be one here and you can see and feel that in the tough, industrial look of this 2-person apartment with a surprising layout. Because that's what you get in these old, historic buildings. Oh yes, and as in all apartments you will also find air conditioning.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in Northeast Friesland at the foot of the Wadden Sea dike. Near the authentic fishing village of Paesens-Moddergat and a stone's throw from the Lauwersmeer National Park and near the boat to Schiermonnikoog. Enjoy Wadlopen, if you like by moonlight. A night walk with the forest ranger in the Dark Sky Park Lauwersmeer where you can see the Milky Way in clear weather. Art in better museums in Leeuwarden and Groningen and exhibitions in special galleries, in cultural churches and in the open air. Theater in beautiful halls and in neighborhood cafes. Music, literally everywhere. Two hortuses and many special gardens. Sixty million migratory birds, bald eagles, buzzards, hawks, deer, hares and foxes. You can see them from your window. Everything is at your fingertips. From nature to city. Upon arrival there is a booklet ready with the special places and locations we have collected for inspiration.
