Alsace house located south of Colmar, between vineyards and forest at the foot of the Vosges mountains, with a large outdoor space, covered terrace, pergola and south-facing terrace to enjoy the surrounding nature and pleasant birdsong. The 83 m² gite occupies the entire first floor of our house. All garden-level terraces are reserved for you. Comfortable nature house, very well equipped and pleasant to live in, quality bedding, 160/200 and individual comforter, Linvosges bed linen in natural materials. We (2 people) live above the gite and have our own upstairs terrace, where you can relax in front of the fireplace after a busy day in the cooler months. All-inclusive price, utilities, bed linen, towels and kitchen towels, end-of-stay cleaning, excluding tourist tax (0.88€ per person > 18 years). For your comfort, beds are made and the gite heated on arrival.
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house in the Alsace region of France is set in a peaceful, green environment of orchards, vineyards and forest. It overlooks an orchard, a vegetable garden and a wilder area where columbines, lemon balm and borage grow to the delight of bees. In winter, you can watch birds at the feeders, and in summer, the flight of bats, great spotted woodpeckers, titmice, nuthatches and tree creepers. Orschwihr is separated from the main road by a mythical limestone hill, the Bollenberg, well known to naturalists for its flora and fauna. Alsace is well served by road infrastructure, so you can travel quickly from south to north, with easy access to the mountains via Guebwiller and the Florival valley. Ecomusée and Eguisheim 15 mins, Colmar and Mulhouse 25 mins, Guebwiler 8 mins.
