We bought this beautiful place 20 years ago in a wooded area on a mountain in the foothills of the Pyrenees. It is 7 hectares in a quiet area. The surroundings are very beautiful. Every year we have built a piece to our house which has been finished since about 5 years now. Then we made a guest house which we now want to rent out. It is basically fully equipped. There is wifi, but no G network. Phone calls can be made via Whatsapp, and our place is self-sufficient. Electricity via solar panels and water via own pump. Here like to handle economically. The cottage is fully equipped. See the pictures. It is a beautiful hiking area and a place to unwind. There is also plenty to visit and see in the area.
Nature and surroundings
At 16 km is Besalu. A beautiful medieval village where you can eat well and have a drink in a square. Olot at about 20 km is the nearest city. There are also the large supermarkets. A little further away is Banyoles with a beautiful crater lake where you can swim. The village of Castellfollit de la Roca is also worth a visit and is ideally suited to hiking. There are beautiful hiking trails nearby.
