Welcome to our old apple press, where you'll find all the comforts of yesteryear. Antiques, books and plants from the garden will give you a relaxed feeling. The outdoor kitchen on the covered terrace is a real pleasure for aperitifs and barbecues. The materials used are traditional: flour paint for the cladding, real slate for the roof, dressed stone, composters, water recovery... heating and air conditioning by heat pump in the bedrooms.
Nature and surroundings
You'll find yourself in the middle of nature, with a large garden planted with fruit trees, a pond and undergrowth. The little village of Marquigny is very authentic, with its white stone houses, slate roofs, washhouse and ancient church. The plants are left untreated. You can swim 7 km away at the supervised beach at the Bairon leisure center. There's plenty to keep you entertained, including numerous hikes and visits to monuments. Charleville (Place Ducale, Musée Rimbaud) and Sedan (château) are 30 kms away.
