The room is located on the ground floor de ancient farmer's house that is now a farmhouse. It is a double bedroom with a private bathroom and a small kitchen, and overlooks the garden and patio where the dining table is set up. The house has 3 other rooms that are occupied by other guests. The house has only 1 floor in addition to the ground floor. The house is surrounded by 26 hectares of forest, fields, and meadows that are available for guests to walk around and enjoy nature. The property also includes the house where the owners live, which used to be the stable, a very large and old room where bread was baked for the whole village, and another small house made out of the old granary. During the day you can walk in the meadows and fields or read a book or enjoy the beautiful view. Even though there might be other guests the place is so large and free that peace and serenity is assured. There is no air conditioning but ceiling fans.
Nature and surroundings
Our small farmhouse is located surrounded by nature, overlooking fields and woods. To reach it you have to drive along an 800-meter-long dirt road; the main road is therefore far away. Continuing along the dirt road you only get to another farm 1 km further down. So the place is very very quiet and peaceful. The small medieval village of Tatti, of which there is a wonderful view, can be reached in 15 minutes on foot via a path. In Tatti there are a small grocery store, a restaurant-pizzeria with a beautiful terrace on the view open to everyone, not just those who dine, and a small bar for an aperitif. Starry nights and unforgettable sunsets are one of the most beautiful things about Tatti; From Nocini and from Tatti you can see the sea, which is 35 km away with the island of Elba and Corsica and the island of Giglio; nearby there are fresh rivers and a beautiful natural lake.
