Beautiful bicycle tours can be made along the wide river IJssel, infinite lowlands, moors and nice villages and Hanseatic towns. Cross the IJssel to Overijssel via one of the bridges or, even more fun, take one of the ferries. At Herberg Molecaten - just a stone's throw away - you can linger for a cup of coffee, lunch or dinner after a walk or bike ride. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy a wonderful round on the beautiful, old nine-hole course of the Hattem Golf Club. The Hanseatic cities of Kampen and Zwolle (Museum de Fundatie) can be reached by car within 10 minutes. Also good to reach by bike. Hattem itself has 3 nice museums.
