In any season The Bird of Paradise is a wonderfully comfortable vacation villa, quietly situated on a small park next to the Rijsterbos and within walking distance of the IJsselmeer where many a kitesurfer, beginner or pro enjoys the shallow water. The 125m2 spacious villa is energy neutral and equipped with all the luxury and comfort. A wonderful base for rest, nature, sports, wind and kite surfing, swimming, hiking, cycling, golfing, culinary enjoyment and relaxing together! The ground floor villa has a luxury bathroom with double shower, bathtub and large sink. The bathroom has plenty of bath towels, delicious bath and shower gel and a hair dryer. There is also a spacious separate toilet with extra urinal. The large living kitchen is equipped with all conceivable equipment such as an induction stove, filter coffee maker, Nespresso machine and div. ovens A wide corridor leads to the spacious bedrooms (3 x 2 persons) with comfortable box spring beds and down comforters.
Nature and surroundings
Through the hallway you reach a nice separate terrace with a lovely lounge area. The villa overlooks the garden and farmlands. Adjacent to the living room is a lovely second terrace, equipped with lounge sofas, a garden set, parasols and barbecue. The Bird of Paradise is fully equipped and has its own double parking space. From the villa you can walk straight into the ancient Rijsterbos forest. There are beautiful bike rides to the various quaint villages and towns in the area, such as Balk, Hindeloopen and Stavoren. About 4 km away you will find Golf Club Gaasterland with its 9-hole nature course. Also fun for the whole family is Pitch&Put Golf in Koudum (±8km.) In short: a wonderful base for rest, nature, sports, wind and kite surfing, swimming, hiking, cycling, golf, culinary enjoyment and relaxing together!

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund

- Minimum age of main booker: 25 years.
