It was truly wonderful to slow down and relax for a bit—a beautiful setting with plenty of amenities.
The only thing missing—especially since it was one of the hottest days of the year—was air conditioning or at least screens on the windows. We did get a fan, but it wasn’t enough, especially on the upper floor. It’s also nice to open the windows for a bit, but without screens and with so many bugs, it’s not very pleasant. We’ve got plenty of itchy “souvenirs” now ;)

Enige wat miste zeker gezien dat een van de warmste dagen van jaar was een airco of anders horren voor de ramen. Hebben wel een ventilator gekregen maar was niet voldoende zeker niet op de boven verdieping. Daarnaast is lekker om de ramen even open te hebben maar zonder horren en veel insecten is niet heel erg prettig. Hebben nu nog genoeg jeukende aandenken ;)
