Nature and surroundings
Fancy heading into the woods? The wine farm is located on the edge of the Veluwe, the largest contiguous nature reserve in Europe. The famous Kröller-Müller museum in the Hoge Veluwe National Park is also well worth a visit, located about 15 car minutes away. Furthermore, the sand drifts and flowering moors of Kootwijk, among others, are nearby within cycling distance, as are the vast forests of Voorthuizen and Garderen. Hiking? Then try one of the many "klompenpaden" in the area. These are adventurous, marked hiking trails through woods, pristine nature and across farmyards. Tip: don't put on your very best shoes, they can get muddy!
