Our cozy cottage is located in the midst of enchanting nature, near the river and waterfall. At about 25 m², it offers the ideal balance between comfort and intimacy. The cozy living room has a kitchenette with an oven for preparing delicious meals, overlooking the flowing water. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed and bunk beds, ideal for a family getaway or romantic stay. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. Nature and surroundings
The stuga is on the same property as our 17th-century water mill, a short walk from the mill/swimming pond. Walk, swim or let children play on the little beach; in winter there is sledding on the hills. Vetlanda is about 25km with a picturesque ski resort in winter, and Växjö, the greenest city in the EU, about 45km with stores and restaurants. Supermarket (approx. 10km) and basic services can be found at approx. 15 km. Småland offers numerous lakes and hilly landscapes for hiking and cycling. The wood-fired sauna can be shared with the mill; if both accommodations are rented, you can agree on when you want to use it. A perfect place for peace, nature and quality time with family or friends.

We got by just fine with the options in the little kitchen. Outdoor dining was fortunately possible, except for one rainy evening. We were a little unpleasantly surprised that the sauna was not for private use. On the land where the cottage is located, there is also a larger house listed for rental on this site. The people who rent that house also have access to the sauna. Fortunately, we found very nice people in the other house and were able to arrange it among ourselves. I think it is now also adjusted in the description, so it can no longer be a surprise for future tenants. Therefore really five stars (leaves in this case). Wat een heerlijk, knus en gezellig huisje! Niet ruim, maar dat is duidelijk uit de omschrijving en fotos op te maken. Bedden waren zalig, beter dan thuis. We konden ons prima redden met de mogelijkheden in het keukentje. Buiten eten was gelukkig mogelijk, op één regenachtige avond na. We waren een beetje onaangenaam verrast dat de sauna niet voor privé gebruik was. Op de grond waar het huisje staat, is ook een groter huis dat voor verhuur op deze site staat. De mensen die dat huis huren hebben ook toegang tot de sauna. Gelukkig troffen we hele lieve mensen in het andere huis en hebben we het onderling prima kunnen regelen. Volgens mij is het nu ook in de omschrijving aangepast, dus kan het voor volgende huurders geen verrassing meer zijn. Daarom echt wel vijf sterren (blaadjes in dit geval). Prachtige omgeving, vriendelijke verhuurder die we niet gezien hebben. Alle contact ging via deze site of whatsapp. Aanrader!
