An incredibly beautiful place to unwind! You’re right in the middle of nature, with complete peace and privacy, and can just be completely by yourself for a change. At the same time, there’s a charming café and beautiful swimming lakes within walking distance.

Martin welcomed us to his farm with great warmth, friendliness, and kindness. Since he runs several chalets and lodging options in the area, you can tell right away that he’s used to hosting guests. We especially loved his offer of a breakfast basket in the morning with eggs, milk, and other products from his farm—it creates a wonderfully relaxed, rural atmosphere. If we’d had any other requests, Martin would have done his best to fulfill them—it was simply a wonderful experience as guests.

Everything worked out great even with our dog. We were completely happy in every way; everything was just perfect, and we’d come back anytime!

Ein unfassbar schöner Ort zum Abschalten! Man ist direkt in der Natur, hat seine absolute Ruhe und Privatsphäre und kann einfach einmal komplett für sich sein. Gleichzeitig gibt es ein sympathisches Café sowie schöne Badeseen in Laufnähe.

Martin hat uns sehr herzlich, sympathisch und wohlwollend auf seinem Hof willkommen geheißen. Da er in der Gegend mehrere Chalets und Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten betreibt, merkt man sofort, dass er den Umgang mit Gästen gewohnt ist. Besonders schön fanden wir sein Angebot, morgens einen Frühstückskorb mit Eiern, Milch und weiteren Produkten von seinem Hof zu bekommen – dadurch entsteht ein wunderbar entspanntes, ländliches Gefühl. Hätten wir mehr Wünsche gehabt hätte sich Martin auch bemüht diese zu erfüllen, einfach ein schönes Gast Gefühl.

Auch mit Hund hat alles super funktioniert. Wir waren rundum wunschlos glücklich, es hat wirklich alles gepasst und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

The chalet is well-equipped but furnished in a minimalist style. All the cooking utensils are sturdy and of good quality. You can cook with gas (which we love), and to heat water for the shower, there’s wood available to fuel the stove in the bathroom. A wonderful shower clad in natural wood. The bedding was also of good quality, and you can tell from the details throughout that plastic has been avoided as much as possible. We really enjoyed our floating porch with a few lounge chairs and spent a lot of time there in the fresh air. The cabin is built so that you look directly out onto nature across the pond, and it’s rare for anyone to pass by (that was our experience outside of school breaks). We felt like we had the entire space to ourselves almost the whole time.

Das Chalet ist gut ausgestattet, aber minimalistisch eingerichtet. Alle Kochutensilien sind robust und von guter Qualität. Man kann mit Gas kochen (was wir lieben) und um Wasser für die Dusche zu erhitzen, steht Holz zur Verfügung, mit dem man den Ofen im Badezimmer befeuern kann. Eine wundervolle, mit Naturholz verkleidete Dusche. Auch die Bettwäsche war von guter Qualität, und man merkt überall an den Details, dass so weit wie möglich auf Plastik verzichtet wurde. Wir haben unsere schwimmende Veranda mit ein paar Liegestühlen sehr genossen und viel Zeit dort an der frischen Luft verbracht. Die Hütte ist so gebaut, dass man direkt in die Natur über den Teich blickt, und es kommt selten vor, dass jemand vorbeikommt (das war unsere Erfahrung außerhalb der Schulferien). Wir hatten das Gefühl, fast die ganze Zeit den gesamten Raum für uns allein zu haben.

Our stay exceeded our expectations. The house is very well designed and built. We stayed there for a long time and didn’t want to leave at all. We fell in love with the house, the pond, the forest, and the farm. Martin and Rebecca gave us such a warm welcome. They went out of their way to make sure all our wishes were fulfilled. We wanted to completely disconnect from the internet during our vacation, and that’s exactly what we did. No internet, just fresh air and water, only the chirping of birds, the croaking of frogs, and the buzzing of insects. At night, it was so dark that we fell into a deep sleep. We woke up with the sun and went to bed with the sun. At the farm and in the surrounding villages, we were able to buy excellent-quality meat, and fresh produce at the local markets. There are some breathtaking hiking trails, and those who enjoy swimming in natural bodies of water can also take a dip in the ponds near the chalet.

Der Aufenthalt hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Das Haus ist sehr gut gestaltet und gebaut. Wir waren lange dort und wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Wir haben uns in das Haus, den Teich, den Wald und den Bauernhof verliebt. Martin und Rebecca haben uns so herzlich empfangen. Sie haben sich sehr bemüht, uns jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Wir wollten in unserem Urlaub einmal ganz vom Netz weg sein, und genau das ist uns gelungen. Kein Internet, frische Luft und Wasser, nur das Zwitschern der Vögel, das Quaken der Frösche und das Summen der Insekten. Nachts war es so dunkel, dass man in einen tiefen Schlaf fiel. Mit der Sonne aufstehen und mit der Sonne ins Bett gehen. Auf dem Bauernhof und in den umliegenden Dörfern konnten wir Fleisch von ausgezeichneter Qualität kaufen, auf den lokalen Märkten frische Produkte. Es gibt einige atemberaubende Wanderwege, und wer gerne in natürlichen Gewässern schwimmt, kann auch in den Teichen beim Chalet baden.

(see above) Furthermore, there is a nice owner who sells various products such as eggs, ice cream and meat from his own animals (if I understood correctly) for a reasonable price. I myself do not eat animal products but my friend does and he was very appreciative!

Verder is er een aardige eigenaar die verschillende producten verkoopt zoals eieren, ijs en vlees afkomstig van zijn eigen dieren (als ik het goed begrepen heb) voor een schappelijke prijs. Ikzelf eet geen dierlijke producten maar mijn vriend wel en hij was er zeer over te spreken!

We (myself, my friend and our six-month-old golden retriever puppy) thoroughly enjoyed our days at this cottage. We spent a total of 5 nights here. We mostly took beautiful walks in the area, sat on the terrace and decking, as well as lounged "at home". The pond was ideal for us to teach our puppy to swim. Generally you sit privately, which is important to us because we really like to do our own thing without others around us. Further up (not in sight but within walking distance) are some other lodgings. Next to the cottage (in sight though) there is a trampoline that children occasionally jump on.

We (ikzelf, mijn vriend en onze golden retriever puppy van een half jaar oud) hebben ontzettend genoten van onze dagen in dit huisje. Wij hebben in totaal 5 nachten hier gespendeerd. We hebben vooral mooie wandelingen gemaakt in de omgeving, gezeten op het terras en vlonder, maar ook lekker geluierd "thuis". De vijver was ideaal voor ons om onze puppy te leren zwemmen. Over het algemeen zit je privé, wat voor ons belangrijk is, omdat we graag echt even ons eigen ding willen doen zonder anderen om ons heen. Verder op (niet in zicht maar wel op loopafstand) zitten enkele andere verblijven. Naast het huisje (wel in zicht) zit wel een trampoline waar af en toe kinderen op springen.
