Nature house in Voorthuizen

The cottage was very clean and well equipped. All the rooms we stayed in were warm and comfortably furnished and check-in and check-out were very easy. Only the insulation and room acoustics were very poor for us, the thermostat regulated the temperature in the apartment and this unfortunately led to very unsteady and cool temperatures in the living rooms. Due to the lack of insulation we also fell out of bed at 8 o'clock on the dot, tree fellers and rockets unfortunately did not lead to peaceful nights.

Das Häuschen war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Alle von uns bewohnten Räume waren warm und wohnlich eingerichtet und der Check-In und Check-Out waren sehr einfach. Lediglich die Isolierung und Raumakkustik waren für uns sehr mangelhaft, das Thermostat regulierte in der Wohnung die Temperatur und das führte leider zu sehr unsteten und kühlen Temperaturen in den Wohnräumen. Durch die mangelnde Isolierung sind wir auch pünktlich um 8 Uhr aus dem Bett gefallen, Baumfäller und Raketen führten leider zu keinen geruhsamen Nächten.

We would recommend the cottage at any time, but due to tree felling work in the neighborhood and New Year's Eve we had little peace and quiet due to the poorly insulated windows, but this problem should go away on its own due to the new legislation in the Netherlands. The nearby forest is ideal for a walk.

Wir würden das Häuschen jederzeit weiterempfehlen, jedoch hatten wir bedingt durch Baumfällarbeiten in der Nachbarschaft und Neujahr durch die schlecht isolierten Fenster wenig Ruhe, dieses Problem sollte sich jedoch aufgrund der neuen Gesetzesgebung in der Niederlande von alleine verabschieden. Zum spazieren gehen, lädt der nahe gelegene Wald ein.

Had a wonderful weekend away with friends. Friendly reception by Aranka. Received all information in advance via whatsapp. The cottage is a mobile home with extension and is fully equipped, delivered in 2024, everything looks neat. Lovely beds! Sauna is clean and works well. Not in the middle of nature but that was not a requirement for us. Thanks for a nice weekend away!

Heerlijk weekend weg gehad met vrienden. Vriendelijke ontvangst door Aranka. Vooraf al alle informatie gekregen via whatsapp. Het huisje is een stacaravan met aanbouw en is van alle gemakken voorzien, in 2024 opgeleverd, alles ziet er netjes uit. Heerlijke bedden! Sauna is schoon en werkt goed. Niet midden in de natuur maar dat was voor ons geen vereiste. Dank voor een fijn weekend weg!

Cottage feels luxurious despite being in a converted mobile home (or similar). Clearly attention has been paid to interior design and and even simple things like the dishes are nice. Nice couch and chair in the living room, nice big kitchen table with comfortable chairs and also comfortable beds. Everything was clean and neat, kitchen was well equipped with pans, plates, utensils, pepper/salt (oil and other spices do bring your own, is not present). Sauna is lovely and heats up nice and quickly. Bathroom is small but clean, very nice rain shower and 1 of the bedrooms has its own sink. We were there in November so a little too cold to use the outdoor area, but this also looked neat. Cottage also felt very private, private fenced garden and no overlooking of neighbors or people walking by, very pleasant! Aranka was flexible with check-in and check-out and communication went smoothly. All in all a great weekend away in nice cottage, come back again!

Huisje voelt luxe aan ondanks dat je in een omgebouwde stacaravan (o.i.d.) zit. Er is duidelijk aandacht geschonken aan interieur en en ook simpele dingen als het servies zijn mooi. Fijne bank en stoel in de woonkamer, heerlijk grote keukentafel met comfortabele stoelen en ook comfortabele bedden. Alles was schoon en netjes, keuken was goed uitgerust met pannen, borden, keukengerei, peper/zout (olie en overige kruiden wel zelf meenemen, is niet aanwezig).
Sauna is heerlijk en warmt lekker snel op. Badkamer is klein maar wel netjes, hele fijne regendouche aanwezig en 1 van de slaapkamers heeft nog een eigen wastafel.
Waren er in november dus wat te koud voor gebruik van de buitenruimte, maar ook dit zag er netjes uit.
Huisje voelde verder heel prive, eigen omheinde tuin en geen inkijk van buren of langslopende mensen, heel prettig!
Aranka was flexibel met check-in en check-out en communicatie verliep soepel.
All in all een super weekend weg gehad in fijn huisje, komen nog eens terug!

Lovely cottage 2-3min walk from beautiful large forest and also 10-15min drive from several beautiful hiking spots in the Veluwe or estates nearby. Quiet surroundings.

Heerlijk huisje op 2-3 minuten lopen van mooi groot bos en daarnaast op 10-15min rijden van verschillende mooie wandelplekken op de Veluwe of landgoederen in de buurt. Rustige omgeving.
