Small and warm portion of a typical mountain hut , just renovated with private access and panoramic terrace , completely independent . Kitchenette , bathroom with large shower , double bed with panoramic window . Pellet boiler with radiators . Solar thermal and photovoltaic system.HOT TUB and E-BIKE service by reservation . For stays of at least 5 nights one (1) use is included in the price. Fabulous E-bikes are available to guests. 1 Free Use for stays of at least 5 days. Or: At additional cost half or full day use ,only for guests . We have renovated our cabins almost entirely by hand, with great passion, love and attention to detail. That is why we ask our guests to take good care of them.
Nature and surroundings
Located in the small hamlet of Martassina, in the municipality of Ala di Stura, from the house there is access to trails through enchanted forests of larch and beech . Within walking distance of the road and parking (public street parking) but in an absolutely quiet and peaceful area Many alpine lakes can be reached by walking through wild and extraordinary valleys. The house has a wonderful view of the valley and river below. Walking pleasantly along the river it is possible to reach the Gorgia waterfall . A visit to the Piano della Mussa is not to be missed, both in winter and summer.Ala di Stura and its hamlets are famous for the multitude of sundials in the villages.In Martassina the old school can be visited, by reservation.In Balme there is the Mountain Guides Museum that can be visited by reservation, and a producer of craft beers ,mineral water and organic juices.
