When you spend the night in the cottage, you’ll be transported to the land of fairy-tale dreams.
Nature and surroundings
The place is very remote—not to say “at the end of the world.” It’s perfect for people who love nature, tranquility, solitude, and peace. It’s unspoiled countryside, so most of the people who live here are farmers or vacationers. And although it’s remote, it’s centrally located near many well-known places to visit. - Killary Fjord and Leenane, Ireland’s only fjord, 20 km - Clifden, the capital of Connemara, 55 km - Kylemore Abbey, 40 km - The charming, lively town of Westport, 35 km - The famous village of Cong, known for Ashford Castle and the movie “The Quiet Man,” 20 km One thing that might actually be a plus these days is that there is NO internet access or cell service in the cottage. So you can truly unplug from everyday life here. It might also be good to know that there is no flush toilet in the master bedroom’s ensuite. It’s a camper toilet that you can empty in the main toilet in the other bathroom.

• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
