Would you like a quiet stay at 1 km from the fortress of Bourtange? Wake up in the morning with the sound of birds and possibly spot a squirrel or at dusk admire a roe deer in the open field? Forgot something with your shopping, hungry or want to know something nice about the area, take some leaflets? Feel free to walk into the green house, enjoy the beautiful sunset by the fire pit (free wood) or barbecue (charcoal for sale).

The cottage itself was very comfortable and fully equipped. We stayed there with 3 adults and a baby which was cozy and manageable in terms of space. Jaap and Yvonne are very hospitable, and had also prepared for our baby a bed, a chair, a changing mat and eating utensils. What is also very nice was that the kitchen was extensively equipped with necessities that tea, coffee, oil, coffee milk etcetera were already present. The private garden with seating and bbq is also a big plus.
Het huisje zelf was erg comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wij verbleven er met 3 volwassenen en een baby wat qua ruimte gezellig en goed te doen was. Jaap en Yvonne zijn erg gastvrij, en hadden ook voor onze baby een bedje, een stoel, een verschoonmat en eetgerei klaargezet. Wat ook heel veel fijn is was dat de keuken uitgebreid ingericht was met benodigheden dat thee, koffie, olie, koffiemelk etcetera al aanwezig waren. De prive tuin met zitjes en bbq is ook een groot pluspunt.
