Nature house in Robertville

The interior—specifically the armchairs—could use an update. The kitchenware is minimal and could be supplemented with a few items, such as a cheese slicer, a whisk, pot holders, a garlic press, and a paring knife. But you can get by just fine with what’s there.

Het interieur qua fauteuils zou een update kunnen gebruiken. Het keukengerei is minimaal en zou met een paar items als kaasschaaf, garde, pannenlappen, knoflookpers, schilmesje aangevuld kunnen worden. Maar je kunt je best redden met de spullen die er zijn.

From the cottage, you have a beautiful view of the lake. The porch really adds to the charm of this cottage. It’s a wonderful, sheltered spot to sit outside. Last week, the lake was closed to the public. On the day we left, boating was allowed again. The owner of the chalet got the boat ready for us again, so we were able to enjoy a lovely boat ride before heading home.
The bread roll service is really nice. Your order is ready the next morning. The owner is even willing to bring you more than just the bread rolls.
We had a wonderful week. We’d definitely do it again!

Vanuit het huisje heb je een mooi uitzicht over het meer. De veranda is echt een meerwaarde van dit huisje. Je kunt heerlijk beschut buiten zitten. Afgelopen week was het meer niet toegankelijk. Op de dag dat wij vertrokken mocht er weer worden gevaren. De eigenaar van het chalet heeft voor ons het bootje weer vaar klaar gemaakt zodat we nog heerlijk hebben gevaren voordat we naar huis gingen.
De aangeboden broodjes service is heel fijn. Je bestelling ligt de volgende morgen klaar. De eigenaar is zelfs bereid om meer voor je mee te nemen dan alleen de broodjes.
Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

The location is good. The cottage’s interior is a bit musty and uninviting. The kitchen supplies were complete but not clean. There were plates and cutlery in the cabinets that still had food on them.

The hospitality, on the other hand, was excellent. The hosts were friendly and very helpful.

De locatie is goed. De inrichting van het huisje is wat muffig en ongezellig ingericht. De keukeninventaris was compleet maar niet schoon. Er stonden borden en bestek in de kastjes waar nog eten aan zat.

De gastvrijheid was daarentegen wel groot. Vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam.

The cottage overlooks Lac de Robertville. The owner’s boat is moored right outside, ready to use. You can also go stand-up paddleboarding and canoeing there.
The cottage is located on a campground/park but offers plenty of privacy.
The location is a great base for many activities in the area. We went on beautiful hikes, rode scenic mountain bike trails, and did some fun trail runs.

Het huisje heeft uitzicht op Lac de Robertville. Het bootje van de eigenaar ligt gebruiksklaar voor de deur. Ook kan je er suppen en kanoën.
Het huisje staat een camping/park maar heeft voldoende pricacy.
De locatie is een goede uitvalsbasis voor veel activiteiten in de omgeving. Wij maakten prachtige hikes, reden mooie mountainbike routes en liepen leuke trailruns.
