A. Rated for: - beautiful surroundings - quiet around the cottage - beautiful view - rental Dirk is sympathetic and helpful. Cons: - water pressure was almost completely gone most of the time. Unclear if it is due to the drought, but That is an unacceptable problem to this cottage - the mention that there are two bedrooms is misleading. There is one room with double bed which is okay. The room directly above the stairs, where there is a single bed is not a nice bedroom - the cottage is very dated in decor, which has its charm, but the low window frames and low ceiling in the upstairs bedroom, are annoying because you often bump your head painfully.

Minpunten:
- waterdruk was meeste tijd bijna geheel weg. Onduidelijk of het met de droogte te maken heeft, maar
Dat is een onaanvaardbaar probleem aan dit huisje.
- de vermelding dat er twee slaapkamers zijn, is misleidend. Er is een kamer met tweepersoonsbed die okay is. De ruimte direct boven de trap, waar een eenpersoonsbed staat is geen fijne slaapkamer.
- het huisje is zeer gedateerd in inrichting, wat z’n charme heeft, maar de lage kozijnen en het lage plafond in de slaapkamer boven, zijn vervelend want je stoot vaak pijnlijk je hoofd.

De omgeving leent zich voor fietstochten, mits je eerst naar de route rijdt met bv de auto. De route is de Radfernweg Thüringer Städtekette een aanrader om etappes van te fietsen
Weimar, Erhfurt en Jena prachtig om te fietsen en bezoeken

We felt very comfortable in Dirk and Elisabeth's cottage. However, the accommodation is clearly designed more for the summer. It was mainly only pleasantly warm in the fireplace room. But if you don't mind the cold, you'll still enjoy it there, especially the lovely sauna! The house is very rustic and rustically furnished. But it has everything you need. There was plenty of wood and warm blankets and if you needed anything, you could always get in touch. We were very well looked after. The surroundings are pleasantly peaceful and quiet, and the sun would even shine into the dining room in the morning. Unfortunately it was just too cold to eat there :D

Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohlgefühlt im Häuschen von Dirk und Elisabeth. Allerdings ist die Unterkunft eindeutig eher für den Sommer ausgelegt. Angenehm warm war es vorrangig nur im Kaminzimmer. Wem die Kälte aber sonst nichts ausmacht, wird es dort trotzdem genießen, vor allem die schöne Sauna! Das ist Haus ist sehr urig und rustikal eingerichtet. Es gibt aber alles, was man braucht. Genug Holz und warme Decken waren vorhanden und wenn man etwas brauchte, konnte man immer Kontakt aufnehmen. Es wurde sich sehr gut gekümmert. Die Umgebung ist angenehm ruhig und still, morgens würde ins Esszimmer sogar die Sonne scheinen. Dort war es nur leider zu kalt zum Essen :D
