Nature house in Groesbeek

Our bungalow has a kitchenette with an oven, a cozy TV/sitting area with a fireplace, a bathroom with a shower, and three bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, one “large” bedroom has one sleeping spot, and a small children’s room has a bunk bed. A travel crib is available upon request, and a high chair is also available. Duvets and pillows are provided. Rugs and mattress protectors are clean. The entire cottage can be heated using a thermostat. Adults may use our sauna at their own risk. Don’t forget to bring your bathrobe and bath towel! In our cottage, you’ll find instructions on the magnetic board for using the sauna, fireplace, heating, TV, and Wi-Fi. All windows are equipped with screens, so you can sleep comfortably with the windows open. You might even hear an owl hooting through the night. The garden features a picnic table, a round table, and lounge chairs. There are also some garden chairs in the shed. You’ll also find a freezer in the shed.

Our cottage is located in the Groesbeek forest at Cantecleer Park. Aside from the gate, the park where our cottage is located has no amenities. There is, however, internet access. There is a short stretch of paved road in the park, but it’s mostly a dirt path. The yard of our bungalow is not fenced in, but it is screened off. Surrounding the park are the Kraaiendal and the Mokerhei. The Maasduinen are not too far away. There are fantastic opportunities for hiking, biking, and mountain biking. With Groesbeek on one side and Malden on the other, there’s always something to shop for. In Malden, you’ll also find an indoor swimming pool and a movie theater. From Groesbeek, you can take the Draisine bike train to cycle all the way to Germany! A trip to the Netherlands’ oldest city, “Nijmegen,” is definitely a must. Other nearby towns include: Heumen, Mook, Molenhoek, Middelaar, and Cuijk. We always find peace and quiet here the moment we drive into the park. We hope you do too.
