Cozy wooden cottage on a former nursery on the outskirts of the village, overlooking the countryside and the dike as the horizon. Ultimate place to completely unwind and relax. In summer enjoy the many birds and beautiful evening skies with sunset. Kloosterburen is a beautiful base amidst all kinds of activities and attractions. Day trip to Groningen, Dokkum for example, or by boat from Lauwersoog to Schiermonnikoog. Also boat trips through the beautiful Groningen marshes and across the Lauwersmeer, with possibility of mooring in the picturesque Zoutkamp to eat a fish. There is also a beautiful bicycle network in the area to discover the Hoogeland, located in the oldest cultural landscape in Europe, with its old wierdes and churches. In short, plenty to do!
