Both Holzhäuser have 4 bedrooms, 1 double and 3 single. The houses are therefore each suitable for 5 persons, together 10 persons. The dog can come along but must be leashed because the deer game is less than 100 meters from the houses and the calves can lie there in the high grass. Each house has parking for 2 cars. The houses also offer all the comforts of a normal house. On the ground floor is a bathroom with toilet and upstairs is a toilet. The kitchens are well equipped with a coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, induction stove, oven and a spacious refrigerator, dishes, cutlery. In the storage room there are the vacuum cleaner, broom and some cleaning stuff, among other things. The living space equipped with WIFI, flat screen TV, dining area and a lovely sitting area to wine and chill.
Nature and surroundings
In the tiny village of Wagenhausen, not far from the Moselle and the famous flooded volcanic craters (Maren) around the corner, overlooking the woods are 2 brand new built 5 person wooden vacation homes. It is fantastic spotting there for bird lovers, every year a few pairs of black storks nest and 3 woodpecker species, including the Black, should be doable. Down in the valley by the stream fly Kingfisher and Dipper. And for those who want to get out and about; by car or motorcycle, numerous fascinating cities and places are easily accessible: Trier, Koblenz and Cochem to name a few. Also for nature lovers, this part of the Eifel is a hiking Eldorado. The famous water-filled volcanic craters, the so-called Maren, are a wonderful swimming paradise in summer. Fans of cycling and (mountan)biking can look forward to new discoveries every day in the beautiful wooded area.
