Nature and surroundings
The lodge is located on the outskirts of Gorssel and is part of the small-scale Jong Amelte vacation park, a destination for those seeking peace and quiet. Gorssel is a beautiful little village in the Achterhoek region, between the cities of Zutphen and Deventer. Both are definitely worth a visit. From the park, there are various walking and biking trails through the green surroundings and across the Amelte estate. The center of Gorssel, the More Museum, and the Boskoele outdoor swimming pool are just around the corner. The Dommerholtsveer ferry (operating on the canal from April through October), which takes you across the IJssel River, is about a 10-minute bike ride from the park. It’s an ideal way to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Visit Lochem and enjoy its many restaurants. Discover the well-known Wereld Bakker Wijnand in Laren. Landwinkel De Winde in Harfsen, which offers delicious local products, is also worth a visit. In short, there’s plenty to do, and it’s also the perfect place to unwind. Enjoy a wonderful stay surrounded by nature.

Very beautifully and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities you could want. It was also very clean and tidy. We really enjoyed the lovely lodge and the surrounding area!
Heel mooi sfeervol ingericht, van alle gemakken voorzien. Het was ook erg schoon en netjes. We hebben genoten van de mooie logde en omgeving!
The lodge is beautifully situated with a lovely garden where you can relax in the sun. Next to the lodge is a nice little playground for children. Even though it was fall break, the park was wonderfully quiet. You can go on beautiful walks right from the park.

The cottage was fully equipped. Comfortable beds, plus a few extras like kitchen towels, soap, coffee, and tea.
De inventaris van het huisje was meer dan compleet. Fijne bedden, wat extra's zoals keukendoeken, zeepjes, koffie en thee.
A wooded area, with a lovely garden next to the cottage.
Bosrijke omgeving, fijne tuin bij het huisje.
