Located in a rural hamlet just a few Kms from Les Salles Lavauguyon, with stunning views and next to the ruins of Lavauguyon chateau. The Nature House is inside the Perigord National Parc, on the Route Richard Coeur de Lion. Walking distance to the river Tardoire for fishing. Les Salles has a bar/resto, church, Abbey, Other larger market towns with all facilities are close by. There is a private overground pool at the baçk and a beautiful lime tree where you can sit in the shade at the front. The garden is full of flowers and fruit trees which you can enjoy when in season.

Nature and surroundings

Close to the river tardoire, open views from the garden and neighbouring the ruins of Lavauguyon chateau. You are surrounded by history and nature.     It has all the amenities you could want. Simple but complete. The only suggestion we gave the owner is that the bed is a bit on the short side for the average Dutch person. But then again, that’s to be expected in a French cottage.

    It’s a fantastic setting if, like us, you love peace and nature. Great hikes start right at the front door. Our dog loved being able to run off-leash the whole time. The front and back yards are fully fenced, which makes it very dog-friendly. The host is incredibly kind and can give you great tips. He checks the pool regularly and is very easy to reach if you have any questions. The backyard slopes downward, and out front there’s a beautiful, large tree that provides shade all day long.
