Sandra and her husband were wonderful; I felt right at home. (As did all those sweet, neglected dogs for whom they lovingly take care of). As long as places like this exist, there is hope for the world. Landlord's comment: Thank you very much Bram for your lovely review. We really enjoyed having you with us at the finca...and so did the dogs :-)
This summer was particularly hot and dry; We hope to see you again in a slightly greener season so you can enjoy the walks in nature even more.

Wonderful in the middle of nowhere, and yet close to Madrid. The dogs were quiet; occasionally a rooster crowed or a helicopter flew over but otherwise it was very quiet. The landscape in the nearby area was pretty dry at this time of year but still more than worth it. I wish I had had more time to explore the (wider) surroundings.
