Nature and surroundings

This nature house is located on a quiet little road near canal and river, surrounded by fields with beautiful views in every season, rapeseed, wheat and sunflowers, varied and special to see, here still real silence and dark nights with beautiful starry skies. Within walking distance (350m) is the canal du Nivernais for hiking or biking, really a beautiful piece of nature, next to the canal is the river d'Aron, in the summer months, a portion of the river is closed off by a wooden "dam" so that a natural swimming lake is created, great cooling on hot days. The canal with its 110 historic locks and recreational boating, along the canal runs a bicycle-hunting path of about 175 km through an oasis of greenery and tranquility. The landscape is further characterized by rolling hills, vast forests and beautiful lakes, not to mention the beautiful Natural Park the Morvan, a mountainous area, where you still really unspoiled landscape can find.
