A really lovely cottage, decorated entirely in a 1970s style.
Very tastefully done.
The owners told us the cottage dates back to 1975.
When you’re sitting outside, all you hear is the rustling of the trees, lots of birds, and the buzzing of bees.

Notably: there are no mosquitoes in the cottage!
In the late afternoon or early evening, you might be bothered by tiny biting flies.
Especially when the air feels a bit more humid.
Then staying outside is a little less pleasant.

We had to think long and hard to come up with a single area for improvement.
Even though there are several lakes in the area, a small pool in the garden would be the absolute cherry on top ;)

Een geweldig fijn huisje, helemaal in de 70er jarenstijl ingericht.
Heel smaakvol gedaan.
Het huisje stamt uit 1975 vertelden de eigenaren ons.
Als je buiten zit hoor je alleen het ruizen van de bomen, vele vogels en zoemende bijen.

Opvallend: in het huisje geen muggen!
Eind van de middag/begin van de avond kun je lastig worden gevallen door piepkleine steekvliegjes.
Vooral als het wat vochtiger aanvoelt.
Dan is buiten verblijven wat minder aangenaam.

Wij hebben heel lang moeten nadenken of we een verbeterpuntje konden bedenken.
Ondanks dat er verschillende meren in de omgeving zijn, zou een klein zwembadje in de tuin helemaal het summum zijn ;)

It's so beautifully decorated, with love and good taste. We felt right at home there.

Zo leuk ingericht, met liefde en smaak. We voelden ons er direct thuis.

Wonderful! It was really quiet, except for the beautiful sounds of nature. There’s a road nearby where a car passes by very occasionally.

Heerlijk! Het was echt stil, behalve de mooie natuur geluiden. Er is een weg vlakbij waar heel soms een auto langs komt.

We (me, my sister and her two children) had a great time in this cottage. The hosts are really lovely people and you can always contact them if you have any questions. The house is lovingly and comfortably furnished, nice and bright during the day and the well-placed lights create a pleasant atmosphere in the evening. Whether it's raining or sunny, you can always find a nice place to stay, either together or alone in peace. The living area is perfect for games evenings, there are tables and chairs outside under the open sky like under a small roof and we particularly liked drinking our coffee in the morning on the covered veranda. Unfortunately, we were only there for three days, but we still loved it!

Wir (ich, meine Schwester und ihre zwei Kinder) hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem Häuschen. Die Gastgeber sind richtig liebe Menschen und man kann sie bei Fragen immer kontaktieren.

Das Haus ist liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, tagsüber schön hell und abends machen die gut platzierten Lichter eine angenehme Atmosphäre.
Egal ob es regnet oder sonnig ist, man findet immer einen schönen Ort an dem man sich aufhalten kann, entweder gemeinsam oder für sich in Ruhe. Der Wohnbereich lädt zu Spieleabenden ein, draußen gibt es unter freiem Himmel wie unter einem kleinen Dach Tische und Stühle und wir mochten es besonders gerne, morgens auf der überdachten Veranda unseren Kaffee zu trinken.

Wir waren leider nur drei Tage da, es hat uns aber trotzdem sehr gut gefallen!

The hosts live next door, but you are always on your own. The property adjoins the forest on two other sides. My personal favorite is the view out of the window when it has rained and the fog rises :) The cottage is well connected to traffic, but you rarely hear cars and only when you are in the garden.

Die Gastgeber wohnen nebenan, man ist aber jederzeit für sich. An zwei weiteren Seiten schließt das Grundstück an den Wald an. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist der Blick aus dem Fenster wenn es geregnet hat und der Nebel aufsteigt :)

Verkehrstechnisch ist das Häuschen gut angebunden, man bekommt aber selten Autos zu hören und das auch nur, wenn man sich im Garten aufhält.
