All the essentials in terms of household items are there (except for a kettle, but you can always boil water in a pot yourself). The wood dampens the noise fairly well. The cottage was clean, and there were enough blankets for six people. (Just be careful with the drawer right below the stove. I found that a kitchen knife’s tip had pierced through the plastic and into the wood at the back, and the handle was sticking up at an angle, so the drawer wouldn’t open anymore.)
