Recently renovated, this natural-stone house features a modern wooden addition with lots of glass and a direct view of the mountains. The east and south sides offer unobstructed views of the mountains. This comfortable house is our home and is rented out only in July and August to nature lovers. With 140 m², this house is a very pleasant place for a fantastic vacation. The garden, with a large terrace, borders directly on a field and offers breathtaking views. The house is a 10-minute drive from Die, known for its Clairette de Die. You’ll find all shops and restaurants in Die.
Nature and surroundings
Marignac and Diois have a population of 200, of which about 50 live in the village where the house is located. It is a very quiet village with no through traffic. You are guaranteed to be surrounded by unspoiled nature, and you can set out on several hikes right from the house. Marignac borders the Vercors Regional Nature Park. Nearby attractions include a swimming pool and the Drôme River for swimming and kayaking, as well as hiking and biking trails, caves, rock climbing, and via ferrata routes. All the cooking utensils were provided. The refrigerator is a good size; there’s a separate freezer.
The decor is very tasteful. The two bedrooms look a bit mismatched. The terrace is great, with plenty of seating, including a covered area.
