This Nature House has a large cozy living room with an open kitchen. The modern kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, luxury oven, fridge-freezer, induction hob, microwave, etc. The 2 cozy bedrooms are each equipped with 2 single box spring beds, which can also be connected to each other to a generous 2 bed. The modern bathroom has a bathtub and a separate shower and in the hall is the toilet. All these rooms are on the ground floor. The large sliding doors in the living room make it a bright house with a beautiful view. The house is well insulated and equipped with electric radiators in each room. There is internet and TV with satellite (all Dutch channels and many other channels) and DVD recorder with many DVDs for a fun movie night. There are also petanque, badminton set and board games. At 3 km. distance there is a tourist office and laundry.
Nature and surroundings
Wooded, hilly area, with very little traffic due to quiet location. With a swimming lake 3 km away. Large fishing ponds and a river, where you can also swim and rent a canoe. In our house we have many hiking trails from nearby forests. Along the Maas are beautiful cycling routes and at the tourist office you can rent electric or mountain bikes. Nearby is a food store with many organic and ecological products. A sustainable outing is to take public transport to a Luxembourg border town and free by train and bus ( also for tourists) in Luxembourg beautiful walks along the many waterfalls and beautiful forests and castles. At 3 km is a bus stop, where one can make excursions to nearby natural parks and places of interest. In Stenay, is an ecological city farm with natural gardens and organic vegetables. In the evening many tenants enjoy the many stars on our terrace. Nearby there is a climbing forest.
