It consists of a sitting area, a large spacious bathroom with sauna, bathtub and massage chair and a, via a staircase to reach, spacious bedroom with 2 single beds. Everything aimed at relaxing and coming to yourself. Although the apartment is part of our renovated farmhouse, you have your own entrance. The bathroom cum sauna has doors to a private terrace. The sitting area also has a refrigerator and the ability to prepare modest meals and make coffee/tea. If you need some exercise, make use of our walking meadow or, in bad weather, our hayloft with sports and games facilities. We also have a large cozy common room and a separate greenhouse/orangery where you are welcome. Guided retreat possible.
Nature and surroundings
The farmhouse is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. Here it gets really quiet. All around free view over the meadows. The permanent residents there are the cows and sheep, but over the land also hares and deer pass by and in the sky a huge variety of birds pass by. On the horizon you can see the village of Lollum with its two characteristic church towers. At 5 km you will find the usual supermarkets, in the towns and pretty little villages a variety of stores, restaurants and terraces. Friesland with its many lakes, cozy harbors and beautiful nature reserves offers plenty of opportunities to roam. Strolling around on our own property is already a detour in itself, but also outside you can enjoy beautiful cycling and walking. Through several meadows are hiking trails with information cards. And in our area you will meet few people, so there is plenty of time and space for yourself and/or each other.

Nature, peace & environment:What a wonderful place to unwind and recharge. I was very welcomed by Frans and Marijke, the apartment is fully equipped to "unwind" for a while. Literally a place to pick up your heart.

Nature, peace & environment:What a wonderful weekend we had at this place. At the end of a country road lies this place, where we were very hospitably received by the couple. What a lovely quiet place no traffic passing by and in the wide surroundings only grass with sheep and cows. What a tranquility here. But what we fell for with booking this location was the wellness area, what a wonderful place to relax. Especially in the evening wonderful after the sauna sit outside and enjoy the silence. the stars and in the wide circumference no light pollution. The cottage has its own entrance. The living room is small but is fully equipped. There is no TV but that is totally fine if you want to unwind/relax. The bedroom is upstairs and it is spacious, with a great bed but the bathroom is the icing on the cake.
Wat hebben we op deze plek een heerlijk weekend gehad. Aan het eind van een landweg ligt deze plek, waar we heel gastvrij door het echtpaar werden ontvangen. Wat een heerlijke rustig plek geen verkeer wat langs rijdt en in de wijde omtrek alleen maar gras met schapen en koeien. Wat een rust hier. Maar waar we met boeken van deze locatie voor vielen was de welnessruimte, wat een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen. Vooral in de avond heerlijk na de sauna buiten zitten en genieten van de stilte. de sterren en in de wijde omtrek geen licht vervuiling. Het huisje heeft een eigen entree. De huiskamer is klein, maar is van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is geen tv maar dat is helemaal prima als je tot rust wilt komen/ ontspannen. De slaapkamer is boven en die is riant, met een prima bed maar de badkamer is de kers op de taart.
