Available upon request or as per the calendar; an ideal, peaceful spot to spend a long weekend or vacation—a large house with a 50-square-meter pool and a 6-person hot tub on 7,000 square meters of land, located right in the woods, near a sand dune and a dog-friendly forest. Spacious entryway, large living room; downstairs: 1 bedroom with en-suite bathroom (both with forest views); upstairs: 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with 2 showers and a bathtub. Large open-concept kitchen with a long countertop and kitchen cabinets. Nature and surroundings
We live in the middle of the forest, in a villa neighborhood with 20 neighbors, 5 km from downtown Harderwijk with its beautiful historic center, boulevard, beach island, and dolphinarium. Boat rentals and a marina are also available. There are various hiking and biking trails starting right from our property. Early in the morning and at dusk, you can often spot red deer, and in the winter, you can hear the owls. There are many birds of prey and other birds, as well as squirrels. About a 15–20-minute walk from the sand drifts. It was everything we had hoped to find for our family weekend.

No matter where you are, you can enjoy beautiful views of the forest and/or the enormous garden surrounding the house. The house is equipped with everything you need and more, including tasteful decor and a keen eye for detail. The friendly owner was always available (though we didn’t need him, it was still nice to know he was there if we did) and provided us with lots of useful information. Our family had a great time enjoying the lovely pool and hot tub, playing games on the lawn, and shooting some hoops behind the house. We managed to squeeze in a short walk in the woods, but the heat wave mostly kept us near the pool. We hope to come back someday to explore the woods a bit more and enjoy all of this again; highly recommended!

Het is gelukt om nog net een klein wandelingetje in het bos te maken, maar de hittegolf hield ons vooral in de buurt van het zwembad. We komen hopelijk nog eens terug om het bos wat beter te verkennen en nogmaals van dit alles te genieten; een echte aanrader!

Upon arrival when we walked up the path we were welcomed by the spring scents of the many bushes and flowers in bloom. In the house, the Easter Bunny had already been :-). The weather was fair. In the morning right outside with a coffee for a beautiful bird concert. The kids in their pajamas too. They romped and played in the garden and although it is not yet summer, the pool and jacuzzi were well used. Our dog also had a great time and for a nice walk we only had to walk through the gate.
The adults all had a very busy time behind them and it was very nice to just enjoy the beautiful house and the huge garden/forest. Spotted many different birds and cute woodland mice, lit fires, had breakfast in the sun, read a book, did a little cooking, took it easy - we enjoyed it!Dit zeer ruime huis overtrof onze verwachtingen. Fijne communicatie met de zeer behulpzame eigenaar. Bij aankomst toen we het pad opliepen werden we verwelkomd door de lentegeuren van de vele struiken en bloemen in bloei. In huis was de paashaas al geweest :-).
Het weer zat redelijk mee. ‘s Ochtends meteen naar buiten met een koffietje voor een prachtig vogelconcert. De kinderen in hun pyjamaatjes ook. Ze hebben heerlijk geravot en gespeeld in de tuin en hoewel het nog geen zomer is werden het zwembad en de jacuzzi goed gebruikt.
Onze hond had het ook naar haar zin en voor een mooie wandeling hoefden we alleen het hek door te lopen.
De volwassenen hadden allemaal een heel drukke tijd achter de rug en het was erg fijn om gewoon te genieten van het fraaie huis en de gigantische tuin/bos.
Veel verschillende vogels gespot en schattige bosmuisjes, vuurtjes gestookt, ontbeten in het zonnetje, boekje gelezen, beetje kokkerellen, lekker rustig aan gedaan.
