Our Nature House is located in the tiny peaceful village of Bassigney in the north of the Franche-Comté and on the border of the Vosges. Recharge your body, mind and spirit surrounded by picturesque landscapes, tranquil vibes, and cozy yet stylish interiors. Ideal for activities like hiking, cycling, canoe kayak or fishing, but you will also find towns to visit if you are hungry for culture. The sunny secluded garden gives space for BBQ or outdoor games. The river is a minute walk from the house and offers a breathtaking view from the garden. All of the 3 bedrooms are on the first floor, and they are about 20m2 each. The closest commercial facilities are 3 km from the village(bakery, supermarket). *There is only 1 toilet in the house and it is on the first floor!*
Nature and surroundings
The environment is very relaxed and peaceful. The entrance of the house is from the street, but the heart of the house which is the living and dining room, 2 of the rooms, and the garden are looking over the green fields, the river and the hills in the background. You can walk down to the river in one minute to enjoy it from closer and within 10-15 minutes walk you arrive to a pond. You can swim in the river, (on your own responsibility). The house is a perfect starting point for several walking or mountain bike itineraries of shorter and longer distances, through fields and forests. You will definitely meet some animals on the way (cows, horses...). The village is very small and peaceful, and has only 120 habitants. That's why there is no commercial facilities in the village.
