Nature house in Montgon

Because of the heat, we were often forced to find another spot. Fortunately, there was the pond with the little grove where we sought relief from the heat.
We did miss having a village café, various dining options, and places to meet people from the village or tourists. But this cottage is definitely highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind.

Door de hitte waren we dikwijls genoodzaakt om een andere plek te zoeken. Gelukkig was er de vijver met het bosje waar we verkoeling zochten.
Wel misten we een dorpscafé, verschillende eetgelegenheden, ontmoetingsplekken met mensen uit het dorp of toeristen. Maar dit huisje is zeker een aanrader voor wie tot rust wil komen.

The nature house truly lives up to its name—it’s wonderful to unwind in such a lovely spot. It was very hot when we were there, but it stayed reasonably cool inside the house. The various resting spots each offer a different view of the garden and nature. And we got to see quite a few little animals.

Het natuurhuisje is z’n naam waardig, het is heerlijk om op zo’n heerlijke plek tot rust te komen. Het was erg warm toen we er waren, maar in het huisje bleef het redelijk koel. De verschillende rustplekjes geven je telkens een andere blik op de tuin en de natuur. En we hebben heel wat diertjes kunnen aanschouwen.

Een plek om tot rust te komen, in een super luxe huisje wat van alle gemakken is voorzien. Lieve eigenaren die er alles aan hebben gedaan voor je komst, en doen tijdens je verblijf om te zorgen dat het je aan niets ontbreekt.

It all starts with a warm welcome, and the owners, Nanja and Timo, do that exceptionally well. A clear explanation of where everything is and how to use it helps us quickly settle in and enjoy the cottage and the surroundings. It’s a beautifully decorated cottage equipped with every convenience—it truly lacks nothing. There were even cookies for our dog waiting on the table when we arrived. You also have access to a beautifully landscaped garden with several seating areas. This garden leads directly to a short path to the little lake, where the dog can run around right away.
It’s a spot in a peaceful setting where you can easily spot wildlife, with friendly ducks belonging to the owners as your closest neighbors. If you’re looking for a place to unwind after a busy period, this is definitely the place to be!

Alles begint met een leuke ontvangst, en dat doen de eigenaren Nanja en Timo super goed. Een goede uitleg van waar je alles kan vinden en hoe te gebruiken helpt ons snel om te genieten van het huisje en de omgeving. Een super leuk ingericht huisje van alle gemakken voorzien, het ontbreekt werkelijk aan niets. Zelfs koekjes voor onze hond staan bij binnenkomst al op tafel. Tevens heb je de beschikking over een mooi aangelegde tuin, met diverse zitjes. Deze tuin sluit direct aan op een korte route naar het meertje waar de hond meteen lekker kan rond lopen.
Een plek in een rustige omgeving waar je makkelijk wild kan spotten, met gezellige loopeenden van eigenaren als naaste buren. Als je een plek zoekt om bij te komen na een drukke periode moet je echt hier zijn!
