The cottage overlooks the vast landscape of Le Marche and Cupramontana, the capital of the Verdicchio wine region. It is an ideal place to unwind. The cottage is located at the back of an outbuilding in the garden of the main house. There is a kitchenette with fridge and two-burner ceramic hob, wood stove and central heating. Two steps up is the sleeping area with a double bed (140 m. wide) and bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. From the terrace there is a view of the hills around Cupramontana with vineyards and olive groves.
Nature and surroundings
In the immediate vicinity are numerous opportunities for hiking and cycling. The cottage is located about 5 km from the picturesque towns of Apiro and Cupramontana where there are restaurants, stores and weekly markets. Near Apiro is the reservoir Lago di Cingoli with swimming opportunities. Nearby are the impressive stalactite caves of Frasassi. A half-hour drive takes you to the mountains around Monte San Vicino. A forty-five minute drive takes you to the coast at Monte Conero with its beautiful sand and pebble beaches at Sirolo.
