The woods are home to an endless variety of edible mushrooms, not to mention the delicious Porcino. Local wildlife includes: boar, deer, stone martens, weasels, skunks, buzzards, sparrow hawks, barn owls and tawny owls, black kites, finches, pheasants, turtle doves, ravens, black birds and crows.
