Pure nature and idyllic tranquillity await you in our authentic Ticino estate with granite stone houses. On the edge of a small, picturesque settlement between gentle vineyards and ancient chestnut forests, time seems to have stood still here. Soon all you can hear is the twittering of birds and the gentle babbling of the mountain stream, in which crystal-clear rock pools invite you to take a dip. In summer, we enjoy sunshine in our little oasis from early in the morning until late in the afternoon. The sunny terrace with a view of the surrounding mountains is perfect for a good breakfast and a vital start to the day. For dog owners and "little fur noses" we have created specially equipped rooms with direct access to the outdoors (size up to 40 cm).
Nature and surroundings
Located in the front part of the Maggia Valley (340 m above sea level), the country house is the ideal starting point for countless hiking and biking tours in pristine nature, with beautiful secluded bathing spots, great climbing and bouldering spots and other outdoor sports highlights. The town of Locarno on Lake Maggiore is just 15 kilometers away by direct cycle path - a dream destination with Mediterranean flair between the lake and mountains. Public transport: Accessible by train and bus. From Locarno railroad station, take the NFB no. 315 in the direction of Cavergno, Paese. Get off at the Lodano stop, then a 15-minute walk along the edge of the forest. Shuttle service available by arrangement from Locarno railroad station.
