Local Mediterranean flora includes: TREES, oak, olive tree and many more trees, FLOWERS, wild orchids, cyclamen, irises, arbutus, butcher’s broom, scotch broom, phillyrea, holly, hawthorn and wild asparagus. The woods are home to an endless variety of edible mushrooms, not to mention the delicious Porcino. Local wildlife includes: boar, deer, stone martens, weasels, skunks, buzzards, sparrow hawks, barn owls and tawny owls, black kites, finches, pheasants, turtle doves, ravens, black birds and crows.
