The detached cottage (100m2) is located in the green next to our old farmhouse, but still has enough privacy. The cottage was recently renovated and is fully equipped. The first floor is nice and spacious (68m2) and sunny. You will find a living room with sitting area (WiFi, AppleTV), an open kitchen with large dining table and a bathroom with rain shower and (separate) toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms with double beds. One of the double beds can also be made into two single beds. Bed linen and towel sets are included in the price, breakfast is not. You park on our own property (1.3 acres). Through a small gate you enter the garden of the B&B: it has on two sides a private outdoor terrace (east and south) where you can lounge and/or eat outside. There are also two comfortable sunbeds. The garden is completely fenced and dogs are welcome. A walk across our grounds will take you via the stables to the horse pastures, the entrance to the wooden shoes path, or the cozy village
Nature and surroundings
Our plot is located on a dirt road in the outskirts of Eerbeek but within walking distance of the village. The best of both worlds: because you cycle within five minutes into the National Park Veluwezoom but ... can also enjoy the bustling village with surprisingly good restaurants. The 16 km long wooden shoes path 'The Eertbeeckse Beekpad' runs along our house. You can start and end this walk from our property. Stage 12 of the 384 km long Maarten van Rossumpad and Trekvogelpad (stage 18) also come within 400 meters past the B&B. Also nearby runs the Hall path, perhaps the most beautiful bike path in the Netherlands and part of the Hanseatic League path. Through the meandering IJssel bank you can cycle to Zutphen or Deventer. In consultation we have two good electric bicycles for rent. For dog owners the Weberbos is nearby. This spacious park is an ideal dog walking area and is located at the end of our street.
